Community Campfire Boosts Spirits Despite Blustery Weather!
On Saturday, November 1st, Diamond Valley families enjoyed games and activities as well as marshmallow roasting and a campfire singalong at Bob Lockhead Lions Memorial Park in the Foothills Lions Campground.
Thanks to event sponsors, Foothills Energy Co-op, Diamond Valley Youth Foundation, Foothills Lions Club, Path Less Taken Education and Western Sky Land Trust, families and community members of all ages were able to spend time together outdoors, warm up by the fire, get silly at the campfire singalong, learn about beavers, and enjoy tasty treats like hot chocolate and marshmallows.
