Upcoming Opportunities

Grand Opening!

We are very excited to announce that we will be having the Grand Opening of the "Valley Makerspace" this month, and we hope to see as many Valley folk out as possible! The DVSLC is a not-for-profit, volunteer community organization, that sustainable-minded folks can join (find out more about this at our opening)! We have a great makerspace in the works, on display, that will be available for rental, AND to create/promote new types of sustainable programs/initiatives! Please come visit, celebrate with us, and find out more, on either October 21st and/or 22nd, from 1 - 5 pm!

Workshops, Education and Apprenticeships

The Sustainable Living Centre will be offering a number of education opportunities and apprenticeships through our Repair Cafes, Workshops, and our Makerspaces. Members and Visitors will have an opportunity to learn new skills first hand through in-house training, whether its welding or preserving food from your gardens, or building a new desk for your new home office. Once you have training and have received a certificate you will be able to make use of tools in the facility.
